Project Name: Development and Panel Production of Bifacial PERC+ Type Solar Cell (ÇİTAP+)
The aim of this project is to develop high-efficiency (>24%), easily manufacturable, bifacial PERC+ type solar cells. It is targeted that the rear-side efficiency of the cell will be over 20%, thus reaching an effective efficiency of 26%. The processes to be used in the project will aim to simplify the production of bifacial cells as much as possible, thereby reducing the cost/performance ratio. In this context, innovative layer and stack usages and the effects of these experiments on solar cell performance will be prototyped and analyzed at ODTÜ-GÜNAM facilities. After the development and optimization studies are completed, trial productions and tests of these technologies will be carried out on the Kalyon PV production line.
