The fourth of the International Photovoltaic Science and Technologies Conference (PVCon) series, Türkiye’s sole and most comprehensive conference on photovoltaic science and technologies for electricity generation from solar energy, with a broad participant profile ranging from academia to industry and from the public to the private sector, both nationally and internationally, will be organized by ODTÜ-GÜNAM at the METU Culture and Congress Center between July 3-5, 2024. Among the invited speakers of the conference are scientists and researchers who have made internationally significant contributions in various multidisciplinary fields of photovoltaic science and technologies, such as Michael Graetzel (EPFL, Switzerland), Rolf Brendel (ISFH, Germany), Xingxing Zhang (Dalarna Univ., Sweden), Seçkin Akın (Necmettin Erbakan Univ., Türkiye), Canan Kandilli (Uşak Univ., Turkey), Kaining Ding (Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany), Henk Bolink (Univ. of Valencia, Spain), and Ramazan Sarı (Technical Univ. of Denmark, Denmark), and this list is expanding daily through ongoing active discussions.
Selected works presented at the conference, following relevant evaluations, can be submitted as article applications to high-impact factor journals such as Renewable Energy (https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/renewable-energy) or Solar Energy Materials and Solar Cells (https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/solar-energy-materials-and-solar-cells); and as paper submissions to reputable publishers such as the IEEE-Xplore Digital Library (https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore/home.jsp) or AIP Publishing (https://pubs.aip.org).

The deadline for abstract submissions is April 30, 2024.
The conference will also feature events such as the Solar Energy Summit, where current developments in the photovoltaic solar energy sector and industry will be discussed, an exhibition area where leading institutions and companies in the sector will showcase their products and services, and consortium meetings where stakeholders of various Horizon Europe projects in which ODTÜ-GÜNAM is also a partner will come together.
