DEVELOPMENT OF NEXT-GENERATION SOLAR PANEL TECHNOLOGIES
The aim of the project is to develop prototypes of next-generation solar panels, which are expected to hold a significant place in photovoltaic markets in the near future. The solar cells to be used in these panels will be developed by TFTP stakeholders in other projects. The process of turning all the developed solar cells into panels and preparing them for market introduction is being carried out by iTECHSOLAR, the executor of the YENESTEK program.
iTECHSOLAR, which further advances its knowledge and experience in solar panel production through this project, is working on 4 different panel technologies within this scope. A separate lamination recipe, different soldering methods, different electrical connection designs, and, when necessary, different interlayer materials used in panel construction have been employed for each panel.
These are listed below:
- Bifacial panels for IBC type cells (in collaboration with ODTÜ-GÜNAM)
- Bifacial solar panels using SHJ type cells (in collaboration with NÖHÜNAM)
- Solar panels completed using Shingled (Sliced) cells (in collaboration with ASELSAN and ODTÜ-GÜNAM)
- Solar panels made with Topcon cells (in collaboration with ODTÜ-GÜNAM)
