DEVELOPMENT OF NEW CELL CUTTING TECHNIQUES FOR SHINGLED PV PANELS AND DEVELOPMENT OF GLASS/GLASS PV PANELS USING THESE CELLS

The aim of the project is to produce Shingled PV modules with higher output power and higher efficiency compared to full or half-cell FV modules with the same area, and with low CTM (Cell-to-Module) loss. ASELSAN is responsible for the development of the cutting technique for solar cells, the optimization of parameters in the laser cutting processes of silicon cells, the development of prototype modules from sliced cells, panel designs, and the development of panel lamination and packaging technology.
