📢 ODTÜ-GÜNAM-Led SOLARSOS Project Final Meeting Held with TÜBİTAK 1004 Support!

📌 We held the closing meeting of the SOLARSOS project, conducted under the Türkiye Photovoltaic Technologies Platform (TFTP) led by ODTÜ-GÜNAM with the support of TÜBİTAK 1004!

📌 At the online meeting held on January 31, 2025, project activities were shared, feedback was received from stakeholders, ideas were exchanged, and prominent topics for future research in the field of solar energy were identified.

📊 The TFTP presentation was given by Project Management Specialist TULIN YAMAN SÖKMEN from the ODTÜ-GÜNAM Project Support Office.

📌 Within the scope of the studies carried out under the leadership of SOLARSOS project principal investigator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pinar Derin Güre:

🔹 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Derin Güre and Ezgi İpek evaluated the impact of solar energy on growth, unemployment, current account deficit, and emissions using economic general equilibrium models. 🔹 Prof. Dr. Erkan Erdil and Esin Yazıcı, PhD(c), shared the outputs and policy recommendations of qualitative studies conducted with project leaders and industry stakeholders. 🔹 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Besim Can ZIRH and Abdulkadir Deveci presented the Manisa Akhisar case analysis.
