SOCIETAL IMPACT OF THE RESEARCH PROGRAM
Within the scope of the Social Impact Project, the measurement and evaluation of social and economic impact at the micro, meso, and macro levels are being carried out. The micro-level objective is to evaluate the current status and performance of the projects within the platform, their targets and needs, their projections, and the outcomes of these projections.
The fundamental aim is to determine the macro-economic and social impacts of the activities carried out to produce high-efficiency solar cell types in Türkiye and to develop and disseminate research-oriented production technologies at all levels that will contribute to this production, within the framework of TFTP’s core mission, such as environmental impact, employment, growth, and exports. It also involves a detailed analysis of the societal impact that the technology-based strategic goals within the Technology Acquisition Roadmap and the activities carried out within the research program will create, including social, ecological, cultural, economic, and other sub-dimensions.
